(01.12.2013) Cassandra on the roof by Neglea (01.12.2013) Cassandra on the roof by Neglea
Another personal design of :iconbattle-prime:'s oc Cassandra (a succubus), based solely on her personality :iconbattle-prime: gave me. This is also the first time I used pastel chalk for a picturela-chess: la-black-pawn , but maybe it turned out a little bit too gloomy thanks to it ^^;
In this scene Cassandra and her master wait on the roof for the enemy to arrive.

Used media: pencil (for the design of everything), black pen (for fixing the outlines made by the pencil before), coloring pencils, black pastel chalk (for the dark sky and the shading) and yellow pastel chalk (for the moon and the "glowing" effect). And I hated those roof tiles, it was a hell of a work drawing them because of that perspective, believe me =_=

I like the dark theme of the picture. The colours work really well together, you've shaded and highlighted really well and the line art is done really well. Brilliant job!

I like the feet, wings and sky. Very cool. You did great on the color.
His expression makes it not so gloomy Mr. Grimm ^_^ and the color is great for it to be a night scene and in the style you did it ^_^

Are all of your literature posts stories that coincide with your art?

I'm glad that you like it Jean Kirschstein (Blush) [Shingeki no Kyojin] . It was a hell of a job with the pastel chalk, after I finished it all my fingers were pitch black with a light yellow tone XD
hm, what do you mean with "coincide"? Is it a question if my literature and my art posts are related to each other in reference to the content or is it the quality, you're comparing now?^^° (sry, I'm unfamiliar with this word)
If it's the latter one, than it's hard to say from an objective point of view (since from my point of view I suck at both of them, okay maybe at writing more than art lol - seriously, there is so much room to improve >_< and there are still so many things I can't do, like strong distorted perspectives for whole scenes, including landscapes - ok, I also fail to draw normal landscapes lol - <it's also difficult, but at least manageable, to draw one single person distorted - scenes on the other side are hell o_o>)
And btw. I only uploaded poems so far XD (I'm not sure if you really need so much skills for them, they just have to be fluent and rhyme^^°, the abstract things comes automatically as you follow your mind @_@)

Well, most of the characters I've drawn are from 2 main stories I'm working on right now (one is a classical fantasy story and the other one is a suburban fantasy story)^^;
But they are still in a stage of development, so it wouldn't make sense to publish them yet ^^;
